First, will you be obtaining a business license of any kind? If so, you will need to check the licensing requirements. Some local governments require that you maintain a certain level of
liability insurance especially if people will be coming to your home during the course of your business. If your local government doesn’t require home based business insurance, then you must look at your individual situation and make that call. You may want to consult a licensed insurance agent to advise you of possible affordable options.

Will you keep an inventory in your home? In that case, you will probably want to insure it against a potential loss. Most homeowners insurance policies do not cover the loss of business
supplies so check with your local insurance agent to find out the best option for your home based business insurance needs.

If you will use your car consistently in your business, you will probably need to contact your auto insurance agent. Premiums usually increase when you drive your car for regular business
use. One thing to keep in mind is that business use of a car is often tax deductible so this can help defray the added home based business insurance cost.

Many people run their businesses without any type of insurance. This is probably fine if
you run a fairly small operation and don t mind replacing any materials that you lose. However, if you anticipate people coming to your home or maintain a significant inventory,

Online Poker - Advanced Tips & Tricks

Thousands of players play poker daily online, and there are many good reasons why! There's no doubt that luck plays a major role in short term poker success but over the long run, poker is certainly a game of skill.
Poker uses a standard deck of 52 playing cards. Cards are ranked in a systematic fashion. 2 is the lowest card, Ace is the highest. The deck is split into four suits, no suit is of more value than another. A poker hand contains five cards. The highest hand at the table wins.

The number of cards you are dealt depends on the variation of poker you're playing. Again, to stick with the basics five cards is most common.

In most poker games you start the betting with an ante just to get the cards dealt.

The object of online poker is deceptively simple: win the money in the pot during a round of play by either having the best poker hand (highest ranking five-card hand) when the wagering is done or by forcing all other players out of the hand. The pot contains all money contributed during a hand, including antes, which are used to seed the pot before each hand begins.

# One Pair - pair with three distinct cards. Highest ranking pair wins. High card breaks ties.

# Two Pair-Two distinct pairs of card and a 5th card. The highest ranking pair wins ties. If both hands have the same high pair, the second pair wins. If both hands have the same pairs, the high card wins.

# Three of a Kind-Three cards of any rank with the remaining cards not being a pair (that would be a full house if it were). Once again the highest ranking three of a kind would win. K-K-K-2-4 would beat Q-Q-Q-2-3. If both are the same rank (only in a wild card game), then the High Card rule come into effect with the remaining two.

# Four of a Kind- Four cards of the same rank like four Aces or Four Kings. If there are two or more hands that qualify, the hand with the higher-rank four of a kind wins. Very rarely, I mean really rarely, if you are playing a game with a lot of wild cards, you may have two four of a kinds with the same rank. In this case you use the High Card rule (number 10 on this list).

# Five of a Kind -A five of a kind, only possible when using wild cards, is the highest possible hand. If more than one hand has five of a kind, the higher cards wins, five Aces will beat five kings, which beats five queens, and continues on by the ranking of the cards.

# Full House-A full house is a three of a kind and a pair, such as K-K-K-2-2. When there are two full houses the tie is broken by the three of a kind. An example would be J-J-J-5-5 would beat 9-9-9-A-A. If for some reason the three of a kind cannot determine the victor then you go to the pair to decide (this would only happen in a game with wild cards). An example of this would be K-K-K-A-A would beat K-K-K-J-J.

# Straight Flush-A straight flush is the best natural hand. A straight flush is a straight (5 cards in order, such as 7-8-9-10-J) that are all of the same suit. As in a regular straight, you can have an ace either high (A-K-Q-J-T) or low (A-2-3-4-5). You can not use the Ace in a wraparound and example would be K-A-2-3-4, which is not a straight. An Ace high straight-flush is called a Royal Flush and is the highest natural hand.

# Flush-A flush is a hand where all of the cards are the same suit, such as A-J-9-7-5, all of Diamonds. When flushes ties, follow the rules for High Card.

# Straight-Five cards in rank order, but not of the same suit (it can be any combination of the four suits). An example of a straight is 2-3-4-5-6. The Ace can either be high or low card, either A-2-3-4-5 or 10-J-Q-K-A. Wraparounds are not allowed (an example being K-A-2-3-4). When two straights tie, the highest straight wins, K-Q-J-10-9 would beat 5-4-3-2-A. If two straights have the same value, AKQJT vs AKQJT, the pot is split.

The game is incredibly adaptable, and the growing popularity of online poker attests to that. Look for the games that fit with your style of play. Be prepared for hostility if you slow down play. Keep constantly vigilant. And Think Like a Winner!

1. You must have a guru or mentor:

If you aren't proficient in Internet marketing, website
design and copywiting--and most people aren't, do the smart
thing and seek out an Internet marketing expert to help you.
This can be a huge financial advantage for you, because 90
percent of those individuals coming online don't have a clue
what their doing. And instead of doing the smart thing and
seeking out an expert for help, they'll just struggle along
trying this and that and losing money, until they're finally
forced out of business.

2. You must have a back-up plan:

Not having a back-up plan for your home business is like
being stuck out in the desert with a flat tire and no spare.
You just aren't going anywhere. Sometimes, try as hard as we
might, our ideas just don't work and we have to scrap them.
That's why you should always have a back-up plan. Give your
home business every chance to succeed, but if you sense it's
not going to happen, don't be afraid to pull the plug on it
and move on to plan "B."

3. You must have relentless desire and determination:

This is the number one reason why most people don't
succeeed. They don't have relentless desire and
determination. I want you to commit the following words to
memory:

"Any success you achieve will be in direct proportion to
your desire and determination. The more desire and
determination you have, the greater will be your success!"

Home based Business - Tips for Time Management

Unless we devote enough time for our home business we cannot expect to get positive results. Just setting up a home business is not sufficient. It will not run on its own.

You may think that you are fully occupied with your home management and left with no free time at your disposal, even though you wished it so. If you really want to make some extra bucks from home along with managing your home and kids, lack of time cannot be considered as an excuse. If that strong will is there, all that you have to do is make adjustments with your routine work at home and proper time management. It can be easily achieved by little bit of planning and organising your routine work.

1. It is worth remembering the old saying, “If there is a will there is a way”. If you organize your work in a better way you will be surprised to find that extra time that you very badly needed to devote towards your home based business.

2. Spend some time thinking to find out where your time is spent more than it is absolutely needed. Ask yourself “Can I manage this work by reducing 15 minutes of my time spent for this”? If more of your time is spent in cooking you have to sit and think how you can finish your cooking faster and get some time from that task. The easier thing will be if you plan what you are going to do in advance instead of rushing each time. A planned work can be finished faster than the one done without any planning.

3. Teaching the kids to be self- disciplined and self-reliant is another method to find time. If they can do some of their work without your help you will get some free time. The older child can be given the responsibility of taking care of the younger ones when you are busy with your home business or other work, for which don’t forget to reward them for their understanding. Also engage them with something they enjoy doing when you are busy with your work.

4. Are you spending more time watching television? Do you think it is absolutely essential to spend that much time? By giving up some of your regular serials and soaps you will find some extra time at your disposal.

Not only the ones mentioned above, anything which takes your time such as gardening, shopping, paying bills, running errands, visiting friends and relatives, afternoon naps, chatting and gossiping with friends etc can be reevaluated and you will be able to squeeze some time there.

In the beginning, this type of adjustments will be little difficult, but soon you will see its worth. But once your mind is set for finding time to work for your home business, gradually it will become a practice of finishing your work faster. You will soon find the extra time for what you always wanted to do.
